Alban D. Curral, Esq. is head partner of the Economic law department at Carlara law firm.

Since 2003, after a French and international career, which began in Philadelphia, he has been involved in domestic and foreign (notably EC) Business and Economic laws: he specialises in Contracts, Competition and Distribution.

He assists French and foreign Clients - from SMEs to global groups - in various sectors including mass distribution (retail, fashion, FMCG), industry, food-processing and cosmetics.

He thus assists his Clients in their B2B issues in distribution law and competition law (setting up distribution networks, restrictive practices of competition, commercial negotiations, drafting of contracts), as well as B2C governed by consumer law; in France and abroad.

He is also greatly involved in Regulatory law and assist national and foreign Clients as regards matters regarding notably their compliance issues (manufacturing, storage, labelling, transport) and product liability. This activity includes lobbying missions with local, national and European authorities.

He also co-leads the firm’s IP/IT activity with Michel Rasle.

His activity has also led him to take up the position of outsourced European or French general legal counsel for global groups, which has strengthened his role as a privileged advisor to executives and legal departments.

Admitted to the Paris and Brussels Bars, Alban Curral has also practiced in Brussels (Belgium) and Philadelphia (Pennsylvania, United States).
